Jo has worked in public practice for most of her working life. Starting in Invercargill, she then spent 14 years in a Queenstown firm where her passion for accounting really took off. There she gained her accounting qualifications by correspondence all while juggling full time work and a young family.
Now settled in Nelson after a stop in Christchurch along the way, she has been fortunate to work alongside a wide range of businesses in a variety of industries. She particularly enjoys meeting and building good working relationships with the people she works with so she can help in all aspects of their business. There are no dumb questions so please ask is a favourite saying. Outside of work spending time in the outdoors, catching up with family and her pets are what re-energises her.
