The New Zealand horticulture industry comprises growers of fruit, vegetables, grains, seeds and flowers for export or domestic consumption. As a country we are well known forour kiwifruit and apple exports. Majority of the fruit grown is exported to markets around the world, whereas our vegetables are grown for domestic consumption.
